In a press conference, the CEO of Madinet Nasr for Housing and Development Abdullah Salam, announced that the company intends to change its name to become "Madinat Misr" and will make some amendments to its trademark.
It is noteworthy that Madinet Nasr Housing and Development Company is one of the oldest real estate development companies that appeared in Egypt its inception was in the fifties 1959 and one of its largest projects is the construction and planning of Madinet Nasr. Madinet Nasr for Housing and Development started as a government-owned company and then began to incorporate other shares of the private sector.
Madinat Nasr for Housing and Development is currently working on many huge real estate projects, on top of which is the Taj City Compound, New Cairo.
